Have you ever read a self-help book or attended a self-help workshop and become all fired up about the excellent techniques and ideas, only to find that after a few days the teaching faded, and you really did not manage to improve your life significantly?

A very important part of accepting new beliefs and change is to make them into automatic habits. Things that you do automatically without having to consciously think about them. As humans, we are naturally resistant to change. It takes the average person a minimum of 21, conscious repetitions of a new behavior, before they replace an old habit with a new one. So reading the self-help book once is not enough.

There is however, an easy and effective way of changing habits and building new subconscious programs. You can use self-hypnosis and guided visualization to access and re-program your subconscious mind in order to bring about lasting change in the shortest possible time.

In order to achieve success you have to program yourself to attract abundance and prosperity into your life. You need to believe at a deep level that everything you need and want is here for the asking. You also need to let go of any scarcity programming that might be limiting you.

By always maintaining an optimistic attitude you enable yourself to take advantage of all opportunities that life may offer. With optimism you will walk through the doors of opportunity that open for you. Optimism allows you to access untapped personal skills and resources and use them to your benefit.

A person with a positive self image is programmed to allow them self to achieve because they believe they are worth it. You need to let go of uncomfortable labels that you have gathered since childhood that might be limiting you.

Self confidence is an essential ingredient for achieving success. With self confidence you can access your untapped resources and potential for good and achievement. Self confidence helps you to let go of negative tendencies and forces of failure and defeat. Before you can succeed, you need to know and believe you can and will succeed.

Effective goal setting allows you to plan your goals and give them positive energy. To work with the universe effectively, you need review your goals often and to be open and flexible to accept all new opportunities. You need to keep charging ahead and don't take no for an answer. Sometimes flexibility is called for when you are working towards and aim. Expect miraculous solutions and opportunities to appear. Goal setting helps you to improve your time management and motivation.

Finally you need to program yourself to always achieve and expect success. This involves letting go of fear of failure or fear of success so that you can pursue success with passion.
